The Management Board of Creepy Jar S.A., based in Warsaw, Poland (hereinafter referred to as the “Issuer”,n”Company”) hereby announces preliminary selected financial data of the Issuer for the year 2023:

– sales revenue: 37.5 million vs. 54.9 million in 2022 (decrease by 32% y/y),
– operating profit: 15.8 million vs. 36.1 million in 2022 (decrease by 56% y/y),
– net profit: 18.3 million vs. 36.5 million in 2022 (decrease by 50% y/y),

Status of short-term financial assets: 79.1 million as of 31 December 2023 vs. 86.0 million as of 31 December 2022.

The 32% year-on-year decline in sales revenue is due to declining sales of the Green Hell game on key platforms. This is due to the natural aging cycle of the product, which was released in early access in 2018.

The indicated decline in sales revenues, rising production costs and the expansion of the team resulted in a reduction in the profitability of the Company’s net profit to the level of 49%.

Last year, total gross sales of Green Hell on Steam, Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox platforms (versions of the game for which the company holds publishing rights) amounted to 1.09 million copies, including 248,000 copies on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

At the same time, the Issuer reports that based on preliminary sales data available as of the date of this report, Green Hell”s estimated gross sales for the aforementioned platforms since the beginning of 2024 amounted to 145,000 copies, of which 30,000 copies are for PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

The Issuer stipulates that the above figures are estimates and the final financial figures for 2023, together with comparative figures, will be provided in the interim report to be published on 23 April 2024.
