Green Hell’s long-awaited console release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is coming June 9!
Green Hell – the highly acclaimed, hyper-realistic survival game from Creepy Jar will be released this June 9 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 for USD 24.99 / EUR 24.99. On release day, the game will be the complete equivalent of the PC version with the exception of the Spirits of Amazonia expansion pack, which will be added to the title in the near future.
Green Hell’s release on Xbox and PlayStation consoles is part of Creepy Jar’s strategy to expand the distribution channels of its titles to the most popular video game platforms. Green Hell debuted on Nintendo Switch consoles last year, and on June 9 the Amazonian forest survival simulator will be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, priced at USD 24.99 / EUR 24.99. On both the Microsoft and Sony platforms, the publisher of the digital version of the game will be Creepy Jar.
-The release of Green Hell on the Xbox and PlayStation platforms is a really big project – we’re talking about opening up to a market with hundreds of millions of console users. Importantly, gamers have been anticipating this version of the game for a long time – questions about the console release date have been
the most common we’ve been asked over the years. We decided on self-publishing, because it will allow us not only to maximize profits, but also to gain invaluable experience – explains Krzysztof Kwiatek, CEO of Creepy Jar.
Green Hell is a desperate struggle for survival deep in the Amazon rainforest.
In both single-player and co-op modes, players will face a variety of challenges while building bases, hunting, and gathering food. An immersive Story Mode will explore the secrets of the lost tribes of the Amazon and uncover the mysterious purpose of the main character’s mission.
Green Hell for PC appeared on the Steam platform in Early Access mode in August 2018 and had a full release in September 2019. Since then, the game, which is still being supported and improved by Creepy Jar, has reached over one and a half million players.
