The launch of Spirits of Amazonia 3 on PC on 29 March 2022

The developers of the Green Hell game, an advanced survival simulator in the Amazon jungle with over 3 million copies already sold, have announced the launch of Spirits of Amazon 3. The latest in the series and the greatest add-on in terms of new content to the basic version of Green Hell will be available for PC players on 29 March 2022. 

The Spirits of Amazonia series consists of three free add-ons. The first two parts of the series were made available to PC players in the first half of 2021. Spirits of Amazonia 1 reveals the background of the first meeting of the main character – anthropologist Jake Higgins – with a tribe living in the Amazon jungle. Spirits of Amazonia 2 allows you to delve into new storylines and explore new locations. The final part of the series is a continuation of Jake’s adventure in the Amazon, which allows you to better understand his story. Spirits of Amazonia 3 is not only a brand-new map section with multiple locations to explore and new gameplay mechanics, but also, among other things, the opportunity to test yourself in three ritual arenas and to meet the new Habukku tribe.

 

-Spirits of Amazonia 3 closes the series of the most extensive add-ons to Green Hell. Since its release in the early access formula, the title has been regularly supported by updates containing improvements, new content and new storylines that clearly expand the game’s content and provide players with additional hours of entertainment. So far, Green Hell has received dozens of updates, however, the development of the title and sales were most influenced by the cooperation mode for up to 4 payers and two add-ons Spirits of Amazonia 1 and 2 for PC. We are constantly listening to our community around the game, therefore our updates receive very positive feedback from existing players, and the title still attracts new enthusiasts. Green Hell is a product with a long sales tail, which is visible in the financial results of the company and provides us with the comfort of working on the next project – says Krzysztof Kwiatek, CEO of Creepy Jar S.A. 

 

Creepy Jar is planning two more big updates to Green Hell on PC this year. The first one, Building Update, will give players more flexibility when building the base e.g. by allowing them to cut down larger trees and remove obstacles such as logs and trunks. New elements will also be introduced: doors, bridges, treehouses and more. Animal Husbandry, on the other hand, will allow players to breed animals so that they can obtain the raw materials necessary for survival in the wilderness. 

 

At present, Spirits of Amazon 1 and 2 add-ons are available for PC players. The studio continues to work on making them available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. 

At the end of January, Green Hell’s gross sales on key platforms (PC/Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) exceeded 3 million copies. Thanks to high sales, Creepy Jar ended 2021 with a record-high sales revenues of PLN 46.0 million and a net profit of PLN 29.0 million. The company’s management board also informed about its intention to pay a dividend in the amount of approx. 50% of net profit for 2021. During the year, cash and cash equivalents more than doubled to PLN 59.7 million at the end of 2021.
