Sales of Green Hell in 2021 have already exceeded 1 million copies

As a result of very good sales of the Green Hell game on all hardware platforms – PC, PlayStation and Xbox, Creepy Jar S.A. generated in the 3rd quarter of 2021 PLN 14.1 million in sales revenues, PLN 9.9 million in operating profit and PLN 9.1 million in net profit. This is the best quarter of the Warsaw-based producer of survival simulation games this year.

According to the preliminary financial data, in the first three quarters of 2021, Creepy Jar S.A. generated a total of PLN 35.3 million in sales revenues and PLN 23.3 million in operating profit, which means an increase by 15.4% and 9.9% respectively, compared to the corresponding period of 2020. In turn, the net profit in this period increased by 33.5% to the level of PLN 21.1 million. Thanks to the sales and high profitability the company increased its cash resources to PLN 49.9 million compared to PLN 38.1 million as of 30 June 2021.

– The best quarter this year and the second-best quarter in the Creepy Jar history are behind us since the introduction of the co-operation mode in Green Hell in Q2 2020. We consistently update and develop the game, enrich the content and attract new players, which has a positive effect on the results we achieve – says Krzysztof Kwiatek, CEO of Creepy Jar.

The successful launch of the Green Hell game on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles as well as the release of two free expansion packs of the Spirits of Amazonia series in the first half of the year, are visible in the company’s sales results for Q3 2021. Total gross sales of the Green Hell game on STEAM, Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox at that time amounted to over 312 thousand copies, including 138 thousand copies on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Total sales of Green Hell on all platforms in 2021 exceeded 1.076 million copies.

– We hope that subsequent expansions to Green Hell, including the latest and largest one of the Spirits of Amazonia series, while maintaining the support for the game at an unchanged level, will allow us to continue this year’s sales trend also in future periods – adds Krzysztof Kwiatek.
