Creepy Jar S.A. has maintained good sales of Green Hell on key hardware platforms in the first quarter of 2023, thus improving its results and achieving PLN 12.0 million in sales revenues (an increase by 9% y/y) and PLN 9.3 million in net profit (an increase by 44% y/y).

Gross sales of Green Hell in the first quarter of 2023 on PC/Steam, PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store platforms (versions of the game for which the Company holds publishing rights) amounted to more than 278 thousand copies, with more than 78 thousand pieces on PlayStation and Xbox.

In the first quarter of 2023 the Company generated PLN 8.6 million in operating profit (an increase by 29% y/y) and PLN 9.0 million in EBITDA (an increase by 30% y/y). This made it possible to achieve EBIT profitability of 72% and EBITDA profitability of 75%. Net profit in the reported period increased by 44% y/y to PLN 9.3 million, and the net margin amounted to 77% (an increase by 19 p.p. y/y). The increases in profitability are related to higher sales and financial revenues in the current period, as well as to the absence of costs of the incentive
scheme.

In the first quarter of 2023, the free Building Update for PC/Steam was released, which significantly expanded the construction and building base capabilities with, among others, the ability to cut down larger trees and remove obstacles such as logs and trunks. New elements were also introduced: doors, bridges, treehouses and more. In March this year Creepy Jar has released a new roadmap for the project, according to which PC/Steam players can expect up to three free content expansion packs for Green Hell (Storage & Transportation, Combat
Update and New Animals). For console players (PlayStation and Xbox), the release of expansion packs already available on Steam, i.e. Animal Husbandry and Building Update, is scheduled. The first one was released on 24 April 2023.

In the first quarter of 2023 the Company continued production work on its second original project called Chimera and carried out further activities related to the preparation of marketing materials, scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2023.
