The high sales of Green Hell on all hardware platforms, in particular on the PC/Steam platform, allowed Creepy Jar S.A. to generate PLN 54.9 million in sales revenue (an increase by 19% y/y) and PLN 36.5 million in net profit in 2022 (an increase by 25% y/y) – according to the preliminary financial data. The Company’s Management Board also informed about its intention to pay dividend for 2022.
Creepy Jar closed another consecutive year with record high financial results. In 2022, the company achieved high sales of Green Hell on all key hardware platforms, in particular the increase in revenues from PC/Steam.
This is the result of regular support for the game, effective discounting policy and the impact of the strong dollar. In addition, the results of 2022 were positively influenced by the release of Green Hell VR in versions for virtual reality platforms, the production of which is the responsibility of Incuvo S.A. Gross sales of Green Hell by volume in 2022 on the PC/Steam, PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store platforms (versions of the game to which the Company holds publishing rights) amounted to 1.28 million copies, with 327 thousand copies for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Cumulatively, from the beginning of 2023 to 27 February 2023, the total gross sales of Green Hell on all the a/m platforms amounted to 203 thousand copies, with 51 thousand copies for PlayStation and Xbox.
In 2022, the company generated operating profit in the amount of PLN 36.1 million (an increase by 19% y/y) and PLN 36.5 million in net profit (an increase by 25% y/y). At the end of 2022, cash and cash equivalents amounted to PLN 86.0 million compared to PLN 59.7 million as of 31 December 2021.
The Company’s Management Board also informed about its intention to pay dividend for 2022 of at least 50% of the net profit.

From the beginning of 2022 the company has released a number of free updates to Green Hell, which include all activities provided for in the 2022 roadmap, as well as additional updates and improvements to the game. In the PC/Steam version, players received primarily Spirits of Amazonia 3, Animal Husbandry and Building Update.
Whereas in the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version, all parts of the Spirits of Amazonia trilogy have been made available. Creepy Jar will continue to support and develop Green Hell. Currently, the studio is finalising work on a new roadmap for the project.
In 2022, the Company continued to work on its second original project called Chimera, including the first marketing materials (reveal teaser and key art). Their publication date has not yet been set.
The final financial data for 2022, together with comparable data, will be provided by the Company in an interim report, which will be published on 19 April 2023.
