Green Hell PS4 release in Asia

Tomorrow’s release of Green Hell for PS4 in Japan has been combined with the game’s release in the rest of the region – Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Taiwan. The bestselling survival game by Creepy Jar will be available on Asia’s PlayStation Store at midnight Japan Time (JST).

Green Hell is a well-received by players around the world survival, in which the task is to survive in the Amazon jungle. Wednesday’s release in Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand complements the game’s June release on PlayStation 4 consoles.

– Green Hell’s release in Asia complements our work on digital release on the PlayStation 4 console. We view the self-distribution process well and believe that sales performance will continue to meet our expectations. Moreover, in order to effectively promote the launch of Green Hell among Asian players, we will present our game at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show – says Creepy Jar CEO Krzysztof Kwiatek.

The PlayStation 4 is one of the most popular consoles in Asia, with over 9 million units sold in Japan alone (a total of around 115 million worldwide). This means that the game may once again face a period of increased popularity, especially after the presentation of Green Hell at Tokyo Game Show. As previously announced by Creepy Jar’s management, their bestseller will be featured during the aforementioned trade show, with the total reach of the event estimated to be in the tens of millions.
